Whenever there is a need for temporary safety barriers, for either access control to events or used to direct pedestrians away from hazards, these pedestrian barriers are lightweight, interlinking galvanised panels which can be erected quickly and in response to emergencies. They are widely used by local councils to ensure public safety and to prohibit access to restricted areas.

The most commonly used temporary fencing used for construction and building sites is Heras fencing, a type of fencing made up of individual panels, which are joined together by bracing blocks and metal couplers. Each panel consists of a metal grid with a welded mesh design, and two tubular framing poles. Manufactured from heavy-duty galvanised steel the anti-climb temporary fencing panel is designed to provide a fast, effective and good value temporary site perimeter. Each panel is 3.5m wide and 2m tall and it is a flexible yet sturdy system and can incorporate gate panels for access control.
